The Bridge at Topping Rose House: Edition IV

The 9th iteration of The Bridge concluded with the 4th annual Topping Rose House gathering in Bridgehampton, NY.  Under sunny skies, the wonderful garden setting on this sprawling 19th-century mansion – turned luxury hotel – offered guests the perfect backdrop to enjoy ‘A Taste of Jean-Georges,’ a delectable gastronomic experience curated by the hotel’s in-residence chef.

Presented by Chopard and celebrating Mercedes-Maybach, this year’s exhibition featured a wonderful array of classic and modern Mercedes cars, as well as amazing examples of classic and modern Ferraris and Porsches, among other wonderful cars.

Guests of the event also enjoyed complimentary test drives around Bridgehampton’s streets, courtesy of Mercedes-Maybach. The company had a number of models available to drive, but the SL 680 Monogram Series took center stage as their new flagship model for 2026. What a terrific car in terms of both looks and performance.

While the food and drinks were spectacular, the cars on display were magnificent.  Last year, the competition was tough for me to find a favorite as there were some rare color Ferraris placed around the garden. However, this year the obvious choice for me was the Ferrari Daytona SP3, followed closely by the Chopard-liveried 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster that has run the California Mille on a few occasions in addition to other race events across the country.

The Topping Rose House gathering is a must-attend event that is the perfect culmination to an exciting weekend of automotive celebration. I can’t wait to be back next year! In the meantime, please enjoy a few more images from this years exhibition. Cheers!
